This guide will walk you through the process of creating your account on our Helix and setting up your Internet Identity for secure access. Creating an account on Helix Markets and setting up your Internet Identity are straightforward processes designed to provide you with the utmost security and privacy.

First Step: Visit Our Website

Open your preferred web browser and navigate to our homepage helixmarkets.io.

Second Step: Click on 'Connect':

You'll find the 'Connect' button at the top-right corner of the Landing page. Click on it to begin the registration process. If you are already in the possession of an Internet Identity you can continue with step 4. Otherwise please see step 3.

Third Step: Setting Up Your Internet Identity

Internet Identity is a blockchain-based authentication system that allows you to securely and anonymously sign in to web3 services and decentralized applications (dapps).

Register Your Device: Open a supported web browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, or Firefox) and go to the Internet Identity dapp at identity.ic0.app. Click on "Create Identity Anchor" and enter a name for your current device (e.g., "My iPhone X").

Set Up Authentication: You'll be prompted to set up your device using available authentication methods. This could be a security key, a smartphone passcode, or biometrics like fingerprint or Face ID. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Account Recovery: After setting up your authentication, you'll have the option to add a recovery method. This could be a seed phrase or an extra hardware security key. It's highly recommended to set up a recovery method to regain access to your account if needed.

Fourth Step: Login to Helix Markets

The first login will take a couple of seconds longer as our smart contracts are busy creating your segregated addresses. After this process is completed you are all done and ready to start using Helix Markets Open Beta..
